Pub History

Set in the historic and picturesque village of Mathern, The Millers Arms dates back to the 1870's and was first registered in the 1881 census, run by John Hoskins and his family. It is a friendly, traditional village pub, offering homemade classics, delicious specials and fine ales. It is abounding in old world charm and character, with an open log fire and cosy sofas adding to the ambience. The delightful beer garden features a childrens play area and well behaved dogs are welcome too.

At the Millers Arms we strive to source our produce from local suppliers and we even make our own bread here on the premises ( the original bakers' oven is still present near the bar ! )
